2018 Annual Meeting

  • img_66581 On June 13, 2018, our Club held its 2018 Annual Meeting.  Special thanks to Ann Sentilles for hosting the meeting in her beautiful home and to all who attended.  We are all so looking forward to the upcoming year.  We are planning some exciting programming and will update the event calendar on this website once dates are finalized.  We look forward to seeing you in the fall when programming resumes!  In the meantime, if you would like to get more involved with the Club, please reach out to Kelly Rao (kelsrao@gmail.com) or Syma Mirza (symamirza@yahoo.com).
Highlights from the meeting include:
  • A reunion update from Kelly Rao and Georgia Sue Black who celebrated their 25th and 60th reunions this year respectively.
  • Congratulations to the seven gifted young women from the Dallas-Fort Worth region who will be matriculating at Wellesley this fall!  We are so proud of your accomplishments.  Deepest thanks to all the club members—especially Admissions Chair Amelia McDermott and Kate Marshall—for their recruiting efforts this year.  We hope to have a send-off event in August for our newest Wellesley sisters: stay tuned…
  • The Club extended its most heartfelt thanks to members of the 2017-2018 board: Kelly Rao, Dawn Doherty, Ann Sentilles, Eleanor Latimer, Amelia McDermott, and Kate Marshall.  We are so grateful for your leadership and service.
  • This year, we plan to continue to expand our reach and to explore ways to mainstream and improve communication, as well as update the Club website. Please ensure your contact information is up to date with the College, as this is the only way we are able to collect information on alums in the area.  If you have not already done so, consider joining our Facebook page.
  • Finally, we welcome our new board members for the 2018-2019 year:
